Royee will be hosting the RCBA’s real estate section as co-chair 18 March 2014 at 12:00 noon. The CLE will provide a brief review of the title insurance process and the coverage that title policies provide. The presenters will provide a summary of the closing process, including a survey of common closing issues and mistakes. This will be followed by a demonstration of some of the common claims that arise out of those closing issues, and will finish in a discussion of how policy coverage comes into play in these situations.
